Grange volunteer committees Community Kitchen Committee A major step in the renovation and rebirth of The Grange is planning and creating a Community Kitchen on the ground floor. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers and donors, we now have a fully certified Community Kitchen. The Kitchen Committee is organizing community canning, food preservation and cooking classes, helping food-based entrepreneurs bring their visions to life. They need help with grant-writing, design, outreach, site visits, and assessing the needs of the community. Please contact Jori Wekin at jori@smarttouring.com or Kathy Scott at ghall@westelcom.com. Or call the Grange to get more information -- 518-963-4170. Program Series Committee -- ALL WELCOME! Performances from local, national and international performers including Archie Fisher, The Music of Frank Sinatra, Hot Summer Swing Cabaret, and Woody Guthrie: Pastuyres of Plenty to name just a few. The Grange Lyceum Lecture series is one of the hottest tickets with the best speakers around. And we have plays, poetry readings, and all kinds of special events. Bring your ideas, talents, and interests to the Program Committee and get involved. E-mail Mary-Nell Bockman at marynell@mac.com to join the committee. Volunteers Needed!
